naefs-2016-12-27

We might go 5 or 6 days next week without seeing melting temperatures, with a decent chance for maybe a little snow, too.

Forecast Summary
• on-shore flow with showers and heavy mountain snow today
• NWS Winter Storm Warning in effect for the Cascades
• next frontal system is forecast to arrive on Thursday
• colder with rain/snow showers likely over New Year’s weekend
• extended forecasts strongly suggest frigid conditions next week
