Onshore flow, abetted by a large scale trough hanging over the Rockies (00z GFS above) will keep us mostly cloudy and cool today. The upper level feature will be replaced by a deepening low pressure system (that forecast models swing through via Vancouver Island) tomorrow night. Spotty light rain is thus possible late Thursday into Friday. Drier and warmer weather is likely for Saturday and beyond as models put a high pressure system back in control offshore.
